A hand placed on a hot plate, a pan of water that tips over, shingles that set in during the night, skin that can no longer bear radiotherapy sessions. In these moments, I act quickly: at the practice if you are near Le Perreux-sur-Marne, otherwise remotely from a photo, without you having to travel. 1What to do before booking
The burn healer comes after first aid, never instead of it: cool (not ice-cold) water for 15 minutes, no ice, butter or toothpaste, do not burst blisters.
Call emergency services straight away (15 or 112 in France, or your local emergency number) for a serious burn: large, deep, on the face or hands, on a young child, or of chemical or electrical origin. For shingles, see your doctor the same day. For radiotherapy, your care team remains your point of reference for your skin.

2Booking an urgent session
If you are near Le Perreux-sur-Marne, the practice is often the simplest solution: you can come directly. If you are further away, the session is done remotely from a photo, with no travel. Booking is done directly on the website: book a remote session or book at the practice. You choose the time slot, pay online, then I act quickly, most often the same day. No need to call: online booking is the fastest way for me to act quickly.
For a remote session, prepare a recent photo of yourself, where your face is clearly visible and you are alone in the picture. There is no need to photograph the affected area: I work from the person, not from the wound. If the affected person is not you, I need their consent if they are an adult. For a child, the parent makes the booking.
Situations in which people call me urgently
Household burns
Oven, hob, oil, iron, boiling water, exhaust pipe. The person describes a burning sensation that does not go down despite cool water. This is the most common request: I most often act the same day, at the practice if you are nearby, otherwise remotely.
Sunburn and sun allergy
The day at the beach that goes wrong, skin that is still hot in the evening, difficult nights. These sessions are almost always done from a photo, on holiday, from anywhere.
Shingles
A pain of a different kind, often described as a burning under the skin. I support the person from the first days, alongside the treatment prescribed by their doctor. I have written a full article on this subject (in French): burn healer and shingles.
Radiotherapy
When the skin reddens, pulls or burns as the sessions go on, some people contact me between two visits to the centre. I do not act on the illness and I do not change how the treatment works. The session
3How an urgent burn healer session works
After booking, you send me your photo and tell me in a few words what happened, where, and what you are feeling. I do not need medical details, only your experience. Then I work from the photo, calmly. Without contact, through the laying on of hands, I perceive the area in distress and focus on soothing this burning sensation.
For this remote session, if possible lie down and rest for about 30 minutes, the time of the session. It is not just a gesture to calm the burning sensation: the work goes deeper. I send you a message once the session is over.
4What to expect
Sensations vary from one person to another. Many describe a burning sensation that becomes less intense, sometimes during the session, sometimes in the hours that follow. Others mainly feel calm, or tiredness in the evening. Some feel nothing in particular at the time. I promise no result, and I always tell you honestly what I perceive. For a simple burn, one session is usually requested. For shingles or radiotherapy, several sessions may follow, according to need.
In all cases, keep your medical follow-up. If the pain increases, if the wound changes in appearance, or if a fever appears, see a doctor without delay.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to come to the practice for a burn?
Not necessarily. If you are near Le Perreux-sur-Marne, you are very welcome to come to the practice. If you are further away, the session is done remotely from a photo, which avoids a journey with painful skin and allows me to act sooner.
Can I book at the weekend or in the evening?
Yes, online booking is open at all hours. I handle requests as soon as possible, including at weekends when I can. In a life-threatening emergency, call the emergency services first (15 or 112 in France).
Which photo should I send?
A recent photo of yourself, face clearly visible, alone in the picture. I do not need to see the affected area. Your photos remain confidential and are never published.
Can you help a child or an animal?
Yes. I support children and babies with the consent and presence of a parent, as well as animals from a photo. For a young child with a burn, medical advice always comes first.
How much does an urgent session cost?
The price is that of a remote session, with no surcharge. It is shown on the Prices page and payment is made online when you book.
